I am honored to write this letter of recommendation for Kimberly Heinrich. She taught each of my daughters during their two years of Pre-School. Additionally, she served as their music teacher for the last 3 years.
Kimberly demonstrated the ability to nurture my children through engaging early childhood education and inspiring musical instruction.
In the preschool classroom, Kimberly created a warm, structured, and stimulating learning environment. It was obvious that every child felt valued and supported. As a parent of two students, I also felt valued and supported.
Kimberly was always available for any questions or concerns and parents were welcome in class, anytime. Her lessons were consistently fun, thoughtful and fostered creative play.
As a music teacher, Kimberly brought creativity and musical expertise. One of my daughters, in particular, is very timid.
Kimberly took her under her wing and my daughter’s confidence blossomed after taking her music class.
She was ultimately brave enough to speak in front of her kindergarten class and sing in a group, on stage. Under Kimberly’s guidance, students not only developed musical skills but also grew in confidence and collaboration.
Kimberly has a unique ability to connect with each child on an individual level, nurturing their unique strengths and needs. She is a patient, thoughtful, and dependable educator, always willing to go the extra mile for students and families.
My family experienced this firsthand over the last four years.
I give Kimberly my highest recommendation for any position involving early childhood education or music instruction.. She would be a tremendous asset to any school or educational program.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
Thank you,
Lauren
I am writing to give my wholehearted recommendation of Kimberly Heinrich. I have had the privilege of knowing Kimberly for two years as she has taught my
children in both preschool and music and can confidently say she is an amazing educator.
Kimberly is a warm, creative, and patient teacher. She genuinely cares about the well-being and success of her students and creates a respectful and trusting environment in her classroom.
I always know that my kids are in the best hands
when they are at school and/or music class. Their knowledge, speech,
engagement with other children, and confidence in their abilities have grown so much in their time with Kimberly. She is engaging and thoughtful and finds ways to connect with her students to fully support their learning and growth.
I believe that Kimberly would be an exceptional addition to your team and have no doubt that she will continue inspiring a love of learning and making a lasting impact on future students. It is my absolute pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Mrs. Kimberly, who taught both of my daughters during their time at J.U.M.P. (Johnstown United Methodist Preschool). She was, without a doubt, one of the sweetest and most impactful teachers we’ve ever had the joy of knowing.
Mrs. Kimberly brought warmth, kindness, and an incredible amount of patience to every interaction. Her nurturing spirit made my girls feel safe, loved, and excited to come to school each day. She truly saw each child for who they were and met them where they were with encouragement and grace.
As a music teacher, she brought so much joy and creativity into the classroom. My daughters would come home singing new songs with huge smiles on their faces, excited to show us what they learned. She sparked a love for music that still carries on in our home.
Any child would be incredibly lucky to have Mrs. Kimberly as a teacher, and any school would be fortunate to have her as part of their team. She is, quite simply, amazing and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Sincerely,
Yazney
I am writing to recommend Kimberly Heinrich. I have known Kimberly for over 10 years as a teacher, friend, and church music director.
From 2016 to 2024, Kimberly has taught my three daughters in various capacities including preschool at JUMP (Johnstown United Methodist Preschool), and The Voice in You summer music lessons. In addition, all three girls have benefited from Kimberly's musical talent at church through VBS (vacation bible school), youth choir, Sunday morning music and so much more.
All three of my girls adore Kimberly.
Kimberly brings music and joy to the classroom. She has introduced various cultural music to the classes via instruments and songs. She allows the kids to interact with various instruments, giving them hands on opportunities to learn and appreciate all types of music.
Kimberly provides a musical foundation for toddlers and preschoolers that develops into a lifelong love and appreciation for music. Kimberly also makes learning songs fun and engaging. During VBS, Kimberly gets on stage and acts out bible lessons in silly skits, making kids and adults laugh.
As a parent, I had many opportunities to witness Kimberly in the classroom through special helper days when parents are expected to participate in the day's learning and provide snack for the class. Kimberly's interactions with parents is always professional and she works closely with parents to address concerns and promote learning.
When interacting with children, Kimberly gets down at their level to better engage with kiddos. And in the chaos of a preschool classroom, Kimberly is always calm and in control. Kimberly is patient and understanding when a child is struggling in the classroom and helps them to work through the struggle.
Kimberly has a heart of gold. She is welcoming, caring, and compassionate with children and adults alike. Kimberly has a ready smile for all. Kimberly will be sorely missed in our community, but I wish her all the best in this next adventure.
Sincerely,
Megan
I would like to recommend Kimberly Heinrich as a music teacher.
Both of my children had Ms. Kimberly as a music teacher in preschool.
My oldest loved her music lessons so much, we were thrilled to learn she offered private classes. She thrived with lessons for several years, and as her schedule allowed went back for lessons to help her cantor in church.
She is now going into 11th grade. My daughter does not think twice when singing or speaking in front of a group of people and that is due in part to the lessons and recitals from Ms. Kimberly
My son, who is going into 8th grade, has ASD (severe) an
d has taken lessons since those preschool years. She has made such an impact on his life.
She has always been creative with her lessons to encourage his love of music. I will never forget when he came out of one of her classes trying to talk about playing the glockenspiel and doing a good pronunciation of it.
With her help and dedication, he can not only sing a song in front of people, but that confidence that she helped him build means he can present in front of his school class.
My family will miss her.
Sincerely,
Jennifer
I am writing to recommend Kimberly Heinrich for this position. I was fortunate to learn from Mrs. Heirich when she was my vocal instructor throughout Middle and High School. Her influence in both my musical ability and in my general life has stayed with me throughout the years, especially as I have since become a teacher myself.
As an instructor, what stuck out to me the most about Mrs. Heinrich was her unwavering care and dedication to her students. I remember that she would not only hold me to high expectations so that I was making growth, but also made sure my voice was heard within the learning environment.
During her time teaching me, she managed to create an inclusive and enjoyable, yet still rigorous classroom for all.
I've always valued inclusion and student voice as an educator, and remember these two things as having the most positive impact as a student. Mrs. Heinrich was one such educator in my personal life that took this idea above and beyond. She took into account my interests along with my strengths to pick songs that would not only challenge me, but held a special place in my heart.
There were many examples of this, including how she went out her way to find sheet music for a meaningful song I mentioned. In small group lessons, she would make sure we had songs that we all agreed on and that played to each of our strengths.
An exceptionally memorable example of this was when I expressed a deep-rooted interest in the musical, "Wicked". Mrs. Heinrich immediately found the sheet music and chose a song suitable for my vocal range. She also had the idea to sing a duet together titled "For Good" which says the line, "Because I knew you, I have been changed for good.” This line resonates in my heart to this day, because without the love, dedication, and care with which Mrs. Heinrich treated all of her students, I would not be the educator and human I am today.
Much of my philosophies within my own classroom around student ownership and acceptance can be traced back to those formative years with this impactful educator. Because she has been a part of my journey, I have been changed for good.
Mrs. Heinrich was a delight to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to be her student again, or even send my own children to learn from her empathetic, hardworking, and thoughtful leadership.
Thank you,
Alivia
My name is Joyce Little and I have known Kimberly for many years through Johnstown United Methodist Church. She is a friend as well as a professional musician.
Kimberly has been an integral part of the preschool, JUMP (Johnstown United Methodist Preschool) housed at the church, and as a preschool teacher, she enjoys teaching these young minds the basics of living, sharing, learning and having fun, as well as teaching them basics of music.
Kimberly is very talented in the music field. She sings, plays piano, directs choirs, from youth to adult, and gives voice and music lessons.
I personally worked with Kimberly through voice lessons. My upper soprano voice had changed because I had to have my thyroid removed several years ago. I
had been singing in choirs since childhood, and began voice lessons and sang my first solo at age 16. So, since my voice had changed, everything I knew and had been taught how to sing was also changing.
Kimberly offered to help me with adjusting to my new voice range and having to adapt to a different style of singing that still incorporated what I knew from all the years of singing.
She truly was my angel since I consider my singing voice the messenger of God's word. When it seemed that talent was being threatened, she came to my rescue and gave me the confidence to sing, not only in choir, but to also sing solo again.
Kimberly has been a blessing to all who know her and I feel privileged to call her my friend and a co-professional.
Thank you for the opportunity to share.
Best Regards,
Joyce

Having worked closely with Kimberly for nine years, I can attest to her strong capabilities and love for children. Kimberly was the assistant director of the Johnstown United Methodist Preschool. Kimberly created a loving and caring atmosphere for the students. She showed the utmost enthusiasm, patience and respect for the children. She also was a valuable asset in communicating with parents and establishing a trusted bond with them.
Kimberly was a personable co-worker that made each day a pleasure.

I would highly recommend Kimberly Heinrich for a teaching position. Kimberly has an intuitive sense about the needs of students. She develops meaningful relationships with students and is able to tap into their interests to impact their learning. She is incredibly flexible with staff, students, and parents as well. Her organizational skills make her classroom planning effective and efficient.
She led groups in children's musical theatre with ease, and modeled wonderful strategies within small groups of her music students, and differentiated within whole groups. She is always able to switch between age groups smoothly, attending to the abilities and experience. I found that she calmly and professionally dealt with some of our most challenging students, often giving them areas to shine.
Kimberly is easy to co-teach with and often draws out her teammates and their strengths. She is clearly motivated to enrich the students' experiences. Her modeling of the strategies is connected to real-life situations for the students. And her musical abilities make her days engaging and meaningful. She may break out into song at any given moment, hitting so many modalities!
In the classroom, her organizational skills are impressive. She provided many insightful notes on student progress and concerns. She is continually focused on the students' strengths and needs while in the classroom, not to mention their assets! She smoothly scaffolded through lessons, encouraging productive struggle and meeting students at their entry levels.
Kimberly is a natural with students, staff, and parents. I would highly recommend her for a teaching position.
Sincerely,
Patsy
